The National Cadet Corps (NCC) mission is to nurture inspiring leaders and committed citizens through fun adventurous and military-related activities.
For Secondary 1 students, cadets will acquire self-awareness and self-discovery, learn their strengths and weaknesses through activities like kayaking and camps held at school and NCC HQ. Cadets get to discover their passion for sea sports through introductory course in kayaking and dragonboating. In addition, cadets will be able to form bond and develop teamwork and co-operation.
For Secondary 2 students, cadets can learn to take up initiatives through school based activities like Unit camps and during regular trainings. They get to master their techniques in their respective sea sport, in kayaking and dragonboating. Cadets will also be able to enhance their bond and develop a sense of camaraderie.
For Secondary 3 students, cadets are able develop their leadership skills by taking over the Unit, to lead and carry out activities organised within school. By taking part in leadership camps organised by NCC HQ, cadets will further enhance their leadership abilities to guide and inspire their juniors. The cadets take on challenges such as Annual Kayaking Expedition and have the opportunity to widen their horizons by going for overseas naval attachments and exchanges with NCC HQ.
For Secondary 4 students, cadets groom and pass on the ropes to the new batch of incoming leaders, passing on traditions and sharing their experiences in order for the Unit to continue to thrive and uphold the Unit motto – Pro Superbia Et Honora.
