Chess Club

• Background / History of CCA

  VS Chess club was formed in 2008. It was started by Mr Pang, a VS Mathematics teacher. He formed the club, research for coaches for both Chinese Chess and International Chess. The club has grown and attracted talented chess players over the years.

• Key Student Outcomes

  The CCA will enable our students to:

  • Appreciate Chess as a life skill
  • Develop leadership and teamwork skills
  • Acquire planning skills and hence equip our boys the strategic life skills.
  • Cultivate the spirit of perseverance and resilience in our boys when face with life challenges.
